Open Workshops & Classes

What are Open Workshops?

Do you have plans Wednesday?

Open Workshops

EVERY WEDNESDAY

in June & July

WHAT ARE THEY?

Never basic & far from boring, our projects range in subject matter with one overall theme, PLANTS! Our open workshops are a great way to introduce current obsessions, new projects, and wild ideas we’ve been dying to try! Lest we forget ‘Tried & True’ we also incorporate our client faves, like our Terrarium Bar…but with a special deal or twist!

HOW DO THEY WORK?

Open Workshops mean come and go, between the posted hours. We will have guides in place for you to follow along to create at your own speed. We ask that everyone allow at least one hour to enjoy the experience. Bring a friend, grab a table, and make an afternoon of it!

WHAT AGE OR SKILL LEVEL IS REQUIRED?

Each project is created to include every skill level, though some of our younger clients may need a helper to accompany them. Bring a friend, and grab a table because we can’t wait to get creative with you!

HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

Open workshops range from $10-$35 per project, depending on supply needs for each workshop. No appointment or prepayment is necessary. Each week a new project / price will be posted on our social media and/ or website.

All workshops are subject to supplies and availability. Each workshop will occur as posted, or until we are sold out for the day. No Rainchecks.

WANT MORE?

Like what you see? We offer workshop packages for large groups in store, and for pick up.

Tuesday 6/20: Moss Frame

Explore the curious world of moss with us during week two. This class is designed to learn more about plants while channeling the artist side with unique designs, created with preserved moss. In this class we will learn about different types of moss, and where they can be found, while we create an 8”x12” preserved Moss Frame. Students are asked to bring in their flower presses from Week 1 so that we may incorporate the pressed flowers in the design, along with preserved reindeer moss, in a variety of colors, mushrooms, and other items found in nature.

Tuesday 6/27: Creating a Kokedama

Learn the curious art of the Japanese Kokedama. We will be creating hanging moss ball mixtures, planting houseplants in them to suspend and grow at home.
